USBCAN-Mini is a CAN-Bus adapter, used for data collection and data processing of CAN-Bus network. It is a high-performance adapter, whose function is to realize CAN-Bus message receiving/ transmitting and monitoring.
The product is portable ISBCAN, DB9 terminal interface, single-interface USBCAN analyzer, high-speed transceiver without packet loss, automatic matching baud rate, bus analysis function and protocol analysis function, secondary development, customizable OEM. Support ECANtools, CANtest, CANpro software, support CANopen, Devicenet, J1939 protocol parsing, save data to files, and save in real time. Thoroughly solve the problem of unstable equipment operation caused by loose plugging and unplugging ports.
USBCAN-Mini is equipped with 1 CAN channel, using DB9 9-pin interface, its interface is defined as follows: (DB9 interface has no built-in termination resistor)

Bus analysis function
The software comes with a bus analysis function. When encountering a bus connection error, it can intuitively help the user analyze the CAN bus interference and test the CAN bus status.
(1) The internal FIFO overflow of the CAN controller: The bus message in a certain period of time is too dense, which causes the USBCAN to be too late to receive and the message is lost.
(2) CAN controller error alarm: The bus has multiple transmission errors or reception errors, the error counter exceeds the alarm threshold, and the error count value can be displayed.
(3) CAN controller negative error: The bus generates multiple transmission errors or reception errors, causing the CAN controller to enter the error negative state and display the error count value.
(4) Loss of CAN controller arbitration: The node and other devices fail when competing for the bus. The pending message will be sent when the next bus is idle, and the corresponding error information can be captured and displayed.
(5) CAN controller bus error: A bus transmission error or reception error occurs, the value of the error counter will be accumulated, and the wrong bit information such as ACK, CRC, and defined error information can be captured.
(6) CAN data buffer overflow: The number of packets stored by the device exceeds the hardware capacity limit due to the fact that the device does not exchange data with the PC for a period of time. The newly received packet will overwrite the earlier packet.
