The diamond rockwell indenter comes with a predetermined amount of high-quality diamond which is grinded into a standard geometric shape with certain technical requirements,embedded into the top of a cone or regular quadrangular pyramid,hence, it is named "diamond indenter" or "hardness tester indenter".
Indenter Types and specs.:
Rockwell Diamond Cone Indenter:with a cone angle of 120 degrees and a top spherical radius of 0.2 mm. (applicable to HRA, HRC, HRD, and HRN scales);
Rockwell WC Ball Indenter:with a ball diameter of 1.588mm(1/16'),applicable to HRB,HRF,HRG and HRJ scales;
Plastic Rockwell WC Ball Indenter:with ball indenter diameter of 3.175mm(1/8')for HRE, HRH, and HRK scales;diameter of 6.35mm (1/4')for HRL and HRM scales,;diameter of 12.7mm (1/2')for HRR scales;
Brinell WC Ball Indenter:with ball diameter of 10mm,5mm,2.5mm,1mm;
Vickers Diamond Square Pyramid Indenter:with an opposite angle of 136 degree;
Knoop Diamond Square Pyramid Indenter:with an opposite angle of 130 and 172.30 degree;
Shore hardness Diamond indenter(Symmetrical Punch):with a spherical radius of 1.0 mm at the top;
Leeb hardness impact body:made of tungsten carbide and diamond,wxcept E-type impact body made of diamond, other types are made of tungsten carbide. There are six types: D, DC, D+15, G, E, and C. While the G-ball is set to 5mm, other balls are 3mm.
