Potassium iodide is an inorganic compound with a chemical formula of KI. It is colorless or white crystals, odorless, and has a strong bitter and salty taste. The medicine is used as a diuretic. Adding an appropriate amount of salt can prevent and treat thyroid diseases.
Potassium iodide uses:
1. Potassium iodide is often used as a synergist for steel pickling corrosion inhibitors or other corrosion inhibitors.
