Sarach is the pioneer in manufacturing tamarind from Phetchabun, which known as the biggest tamarind market in Thailand. The whole business enterprise was built from the scrap by a local school teacher's family, who named their tiny business after their only son in 1982.
A few years after the establishment, the parents decided to quite their main job and focus on building their establishment because they believe that having a business could provide them more income. However, running a business had never been easy to anyone, there were several times that they almost gave up and thought that they shouldn't have started it. Fortunately, with their strong ambition and belief, the business had finally grew through their hard work and started to gain its reputation throughout the province.
"We might not have it altogether, but together we will have it all", said the co-founders. In 2001 The Company had finally reached Thailand's capital. They decided to sign up for various type of trade fairs to gain customers' awareness. However, the cost of operation was very high compare to a little profit they had made. With their backs against the wall, they decided to push forward. Long after product and packaging innovations, they finally made a contract with a modern trade in the supermarket. It opened such a great opportunity for the brand to gain a wider range of customer. Finally, in 2003, our brand was selected from the biggest convenience store in the country, Seven-Eleven.
It was again a huge change in our organization. To sustain the nation demand, the company had installed machine and manpower with a higher industrialized standard. Hence, company Sarach Marketing Ltd., were formed in 2005. From that moment, our business had been growing constantly by an average 10% each year. Our ultimate goal is to create sustainable jobs for our locals and introduce Tamarind to the world's market.
