Mashed grapes
2 cup of sweet fruit juice (apple,lemon,pineapple) with 3 tablespoons sugar.
Soft drink with sugar
Sugar and water
1 tsp liquid laundry soap, 1 tsp sugar
How to use:
Taking 2 liter bottle.
Fill with bait.See drinks list.
Carefully cut a 2 inch long crosshair above fluid line on both sides.
Cut away from your body.
Insert funnel into cut on both sides. work funnel side to side to tighten funnel against bottle.
For best results, add small holes on top of bottle to help ventilate the attactant,the success of this trap depends on ventilating the attactant.
Where to Place traps:
Place in hot areas with air movement, avoid strong winds.
Place or hang trap within 20feet of nest.
Trap works best in morning sun and afternoon shade in areas with hot temperatures.
After change of location,leave the trap for at least 2 days to attract wasp if you do not catch many wasps or hornets.
Caution:
Due to the extreme effectiveness of the attractant, use caution when placing and maintaining traps.
To reduce risk of stings, place and maintain traps.
To reduce risk of stings,place and maintain traps in late evening or early morning when wasps are less active.
People allergic to wasp should not place or maintain traps, Wasp sting can be fatal.

Trap Hints :
Add one or two pieces of raw meat,fish or cat food.
Replace 2 liter bottle and attactant every 2 to 3 weeks. More often in hot, dry weather.
Make sure all wasps are dead before emptying trap. If any are sill alive , cover exit holes and place in the freezer for several hours.then discard wasps.
The spike on front of the funnel is for holding small chunks of meat(fish,ham,etc.). replace every 2-3 days,this is an optional and supplemental attractant to the juice.
Hang trap if using meat.
Experiment with different colored bottles.
