1. Overview

1. 1 Main Purpose and Applicable Range

The product is suitable for patients with lower limb joint movement disorder to take training in improving the movement range of lower limb joints, muscle strength, and coordination function.

2. 2. 1 Display window: display values of time, speed, distance, heat, etc.

3. Usability

3. 1 Do cycle pedaling by way of foot treadle to exercise every joints of lower limbs.

3. 2 The damping can be adjusted within the gears in line with the stipulation in table 1.

3. 3 The angle of BS-GLC-02 model foot treadle are adjustable: 3 gears in total.

3. 4 The front handrail frame is adjustable.

3. 5 The backward and forward adjustable range of the seat accords with the settings in table 1.

3. 6 The speed value, distance value, and heat value displayed by the electronic watch are only for your reference.

4. How to use

4. 1 BS-GLC-01 model & BS-GLC-03model

4. 1. 1 Adjust the height of cushion according to the physical characteristics of the trainee: loosen the screw on cushion regulation tube which has 11 regulation holes as you can see in table 1; pull out or press down the cushion regulation tube until it reaches an appropriate height and then lock the screw by turning it into corresponding holes.

4. 1. 2 The front handrail can be rotated appropriately in 360°in adjustment.

4. 1. 3 There are signs of “HIGRT”and “LOW”on damper regulator. Push the regulator upward to increase damping and push in contrary to decrease it.

4. 1. 4 Let the trainee sit on the cushion and tie the foot treadle bondage well, then start pedaling.

4. 2 BS-GLC-02 model &BS-GLC-04model

4. 2. 1 Adjust the horizontal position of the cushion according to the trainee’s physical characteristics: pull the cushion wrench 8 upward while moving the cushion with 11 adjustable gears forward/backward; set free the wrench when it has been moved to an appropriate position; the cushion can be moved slightly to make the pilot pin completely plugged into corresponding hole on hearing the sound of “Ka”.

4. 2. 5 Let the trainee sit on the cushion and tie the foot treadle bondage well, then start pedaling in cases of BS-GLC-02and BS-GLC-04 Besides, BS-GLC-02 can also be used to do standing style training.

4. 3 How to use the electronic watch

4. 3. 1 The electronoc watch will automatically display data when the movement has begun and a “SCAN” will flicker at the display window, which is the automatic cycling display state. After the flickering, the following values will be displayed in turn: “time”, “speed”, “distance”, and “heat”.

4. 3. 2 Press the model key on BS-GLC-01and BS-GLC-04 to switch in display the values of “time”, “speed”, “distance”, and “heat”. As for the BS-GLC-02 model, press the choice key twice to switch the same values.

4. 3. 3 Keep pressing the back to zero key on BS-GLC-02 model for over 3 seconds and all data will return to zero.

4. 3. 4 If the movement is stopped for over 4 min, the watch will stop by itself and return all functions value to zero; when the movement restarts, the watch will recalculate every function value.

4. 4 Battery replacement

---Normally, the service life of the battery is 1 year. When it becomes due or cannot display, please replace it.

---Make sure to install the poles of battery correctly and contact it reliably to the spring.

---In case of blur display or scratch, just take out the battery and install it again after 15 min.

---All data will be cleared away when the battery is taken away.

--- The service life is 10 years (not including quick-wear parts).

5. Matters need attention

5. 1 The therapist shall read the user manual carefully to get familiar with the properties, requirements, and operating methods of the lower limb recovery device before using it and carry out no-load operation inspection on it. Only use this device when it has been proved complete and normal.

5. 2 The training shall go along with the guide of physical therapist.

5. 3 Please follow the principle of “Step by Step” and increase the amount of training gradually.

5. 4 In adjusting the front handrail frame, make sure to lock the adjustment screw tightly into the screw hole.

5. 5 Before using the device, fit adjustable foot pad well, and ensure that the device is stable.

5. 6 At the end of training, push the hand shank of the damper regulator to the lowest position where the damping force value is smallest.
