Fuel pump assembly The role of the fuel pump is to deliver the fuel stored in the fuel tank to the fuel line of the fuel injector. The fuel pumps in the early engine fuel systems were mostly mechanical, and now electric fuel pumps have replaced them. In addition, some of the original electric fuel pumps installed outside the fuel tank were also built into the fuel tank in consideration of heat dissipation, sound insulation and air resistance. The role of the fuel pump is to deliver the fuel stored in the fuel tank to the fuel line of the injector.
Description of Failure phenomenon and cause
1. When the pump core is damaged, when the fuel supply system is working, when the key door is opened, there is no sound of the gasoline pump running.
2. When the pump body is damaged, because the pressure relief and fuel pressure cannot reach the specified fuel pressure value, it cannot be atomized well, so the engine cannot start.
3. Don't wait to refuel after the gasoline lamp alarms, because the gasoline pump depends on the heat conduction and cooling of gasoline. When the gasoline level is too low, it will not cool down and reduce the service life.
