Automatic backwash multi media filter is an ideal water treatment filter which use multiple filtration media like quartz sand, activated carbon, maganese sand, etc. to remove suspended solids, color, odor and undissolved impurities like dust particles & heavy metals from water.
Considering to ocean transportation, our standard multi media filter is designed with diameter from φ800 to φ3000mm and with height from 2860 to 4480mm, these pre-engineered and pre-assembled units minimize installation and start-up costs.
Larger size multi-media filter is available, customized service is acceptable.
We are in Qingdao, the max. size multi-media filter which can be shipped from Qingdao port is with diameter 3.5m, by using flat rack container.

Raw water access into multi media filter by water feeding pump and is channeled to filter top, and then falls on a bed of filtraion media. Filtered water then exits through laterals at filter bottom and the trapped dirt on the filtraton media bed is removed via periodic backwashing and infrequent filtration media replacement.
