Armor Wrap Pipe Repair Bandage Urethane Impregnated Fiberglass Tape White 50mm X 3600mm
Repair Bandage strengthens pipes and structures made from steel, copper, malleable iron, GRP, ceramic, clay, and most plastics. The Pipe Repair Bandage increases pressure resistance, chemical resistance and hoop strength, and extends the lifespan of metalwork and other materials.
Used for repairs in Oil, Gas & Water Pipeline and adheres to Metal, plaster, PVC, Copper, Rubber, Fiberglass, Concrete, Ceramic, Polyester, etc.
Chemical resistance: Acetone, ammonia, sulphuric acid (30%), ethyl alcohol, mineral spirits, gasoline, MEK, toluene, diesel, hydrochloric acid, Varsol, ethylene glycol, crude oil, hydraulic oil (test period of 40 days).

Operation
Shut off the pressure and isolate leak.
Clean,degrease and abrade substrate
around leak site.
Work putty until a uniform mixture complately
Apply mixed putty immediately toleak part. Firmly press putty into defect.
Put on gloves supplied with the pipe repair bandage.Immerse bandage in water or place under running tap water for 10secs.
Wrap the bandage tautly around the leak site extending 50mm either side of damaged area.
