Advanced castable refractory clay cement powder

   Castable is a kind of granular and powdery materials made of refractory materials, and a certain amount of binder and moisture are added together. It has high fluidity, is suitable for construction by casting method, and is an unshaped refractory that can be hardened without heating. It is composed of refractory aggregate, powder, binder, admixture, water or other liquid materials. Generally, it is formed by pouring, shaking or tamping at the use site, and it can also be used as a preform.

Brief history Refractory castables are the main varieties of unshaped refractory materials. During World War II, the United States used refractory castables as substitutes for special-shaped bricks in boilers or petroleum production equipment. Japan began to research and produce such materials in 1950. In the early 1950s, the Soviet Union began to use Portland cement refractory castables. Since the 1960s, monolithic refractories have developed rapidly. By the 1990s, the output of monolithic refractories in Japan, the United States, Germany and other countries has accounted for more than 1/3 of the total refractory output, while refractory castables accounted for 40% of monolithic refractories. China began to use Portland cement refractory castables in the early 1950s. It was called heat-resistant concrete at the time. It was mainly used for thermal structures below 700°C (sometimes 700-1200°C). Aluminic acid was generally used from 1965 to 1975. Calcium cement and phosphate refractory castables were called refractory concrete at that time. The use temperature increased to 1400~1600℃. During this period, the production base was built. The product standard was established in early 1976. After 1976, the product variety increased rapidly and the quality It also gradually improved. In the mid-1980s, China developed a new generation of refractory castables, including low cement, ultra-low cement and cement-free refractory castables, the quality of which is close to the international advanced level.

Packing Details

1. Strong seaworthy export protective packing, suitable for ocean transportation, forklift handling and moisture.

2. Unshaped material must be packed in paper bags (3 layers Min.) with polyethylene film between paper layer … as ordinary bags suitable for castable packing, with about 25kg/bag.

3. Bags must be mounted on shrink-wrapped wooden pallets, base with two rafter 100*100mm suitable for forklift, pallets with about 1 ton/pallet.

4. Wooden pallet must be covered with polyethylene film (allover bags).
