The Advantage Of Titanium Bar
1.Light weight -[Specific gravity](60% of specific gravity of steel and about 1.7 times that of aluminum)
2.Low thermal expansion-[Hermal expansion coefficent](ne-half that of 18-8 stainless steel and one-third that of aluminum)
3.Low heat conductivity-[Heat conductivity](nearly the same as 18-8stainless steel)
4.Low electric conductivity-[Electric conductivity](about 3% of copper)
5.High flexibility-Longitudinal elastic modulus](one-half of iron or stainless steel and the same as copper)
6.Non-magnetism -[Magnetic permeability](non-magnetic material; magnetic permeability = 1.0001)
Product process
100% titanium sponge to produce titanium ingot and 3 times melting to ensure the uniformity of chemical composition.
Common Grades
Titanium bar (rods) are commonly used in manufacturing today, with the most popular grades being Grade 2 and Grade 5.
Grade 2 is the commercially pure titanium used in most of the chemical processing plants and is cold formable. Grade 2 plate and sheet can have ultimate tensile strength at and above 40,000 psi.
Grade 5 is the aerospace grade and is not cold formable, so it is used more often when no forming is needed. Grade 5 aerospace alloy will have ultimate tensile strength at and above 120,000 psi.
Plate is often used with the goal to get really close to the final dimensions of the part being made. The material is worked to the closest size of the desired part and the grain structure of the finished piece is more homogenous. Titanium sheet is often used as a heat barrier because titanium stops the heat and does not transfer to the rest of the assembly. Titanium plate and sheet have ballistic properties making it great for driver protection in racing.
Other Titanium Grade
CP grade1 can be used in the deep drawing parts for its good elogation and excellent corrossion-resistance.
CP grade2 is widely used in the commercially pure Titanium.
CP grade3 is almost only used in the pressure vessel.
CP grade4 can be used in some fittings and fastening pieces,but for complete shape need 300 degree celsius to form
Alloy Gr5 ,Ti6AL4V, is one of the most popular Ti alloys because of itscomprehensive mechanical, physical and chemical properties.
Alloy Gr7, add little palladium in cp Titanium and it has the most excellent corrosion-resistence
Alloy Gr9, Ti3AL2.5v, is used mostly in the golf clubs and bicycle girders.
Alloy Gr11, it has the similar properties with the grade7.

Q: How long is your lead time?
A: Generally, it is 3 to 5 days for the inventory products. it is 15~30 days of manufacturing for a fair quantity of products, depending on the tech difficulty and the quantity. And there will be another 5~7 business days for Express shipment, or 7~12 business days for Air shipment. The period for Sea shipment will be much longer but also much less costly. Please contact us for a more accurate estimation of time per your products.
Q: Do you provide samples? Are they free or extra?
A: We do provide sample(s) before any large bunch of customized products. However, due to the nature of customization, normally we do not provide free sample(s). Sample charge applies. But you may have the sample charge refunded when you set the purchase order for the quantity products following the sample.
Q: What is your terms of payment?
A: For the amount below USD2000.00, to be completed in advance. For the amount no less than USD2000.00, 30% of the Invoice total to be paid in advance, and the remainder to be completed before shipment.
