wake up driver alarm
Product Features:
Roadefend RDT-402 is a product of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) based on machine vision, which can provide a driver with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Headway Monitoring and Warning (HMW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and other driving security alerting functions. This product performs real-time monitoring of the vehicle traveling state by means of a front-facing camera and an image processor and gives an alarm or alert in time in case of a dangerous state, so as to avoid the occurrence of traffic accidents.
wake up driver alarm
Product Features:
1) Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
When the speed of a vehicle exceeds 30 Km/h, the FCW module will begin to work. When the vehicle has a larger speed than a vehicle in front and is likely to collide with it, RDT-402 will send out a warning at most 3 seconds in advance and the warning sound will be “beep, beep, beep~”.
2) Headway Monitoring and Warning (HMW)
When the speed of the vehicle exceeds 30 Km/h, the HMW module will begin to work. When the distance from the vehicle to the vehicle in front reaches the set minimum distance, the device will send out a warning and the warning sound will be “beep~”.
Warning: No matter whether the device RDT-402 sends out a warning or not, you (the driver) will be solely responsible for keeping a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
3) Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
RDT-402 will start the LDW module when the vehicle speed is higher than 55 Km/h, and when the driver departs from the lane unintentionally, the device will send out a warning and the warning sound will be “ding~ding~”.
The LDW module will not send out a warning in the following cases:
a. the turn signal lamp or hazard flasher is turned on when changing the lane;
b. quick lane switching is performed;
c. the driver steps on the brake when changing the lane;
d. the driver changes the lane in an acceleration or a deceleration state;
e. lane lines are not marked or are not clear;
f. the speed is less than 55 Km/h;
g. under adverse weather conditions.
4) Rapidly Speeding-up Warning
When the vehicle speed suddenly increases, the device will issue a prompt tone of “rapidly speeding-up” (it defaults not to warning, but only send information to the platform), record the current speed after 1s and capture images of road conditions. Simultaneously, upload them together to the web platform.
5) Hard Braking Warning
When the vehicle speed suddenly decreases, the device will issue a prompt tone of “hard braking” (it defaults not to warning, but only send information to the platform), record the current speed after 1s and capture images of road conditions. Simultaneously, upload them together to the web platform.
6) High-speed Turning Warning
When the traveling vehicle passes a curve and the vehicle’s cornering speed exceeds the maximum speed permitted by the radius of the curve, RDT-402 will prompt an alarm and the warning sound will be “Attention please! The car is turning!”
7) Video Recording
RDT-402 can record 1080P HD videos and perform automatic cyclic recording every 3 minutes and store data into the SD card.
8) Emergency Recording
When the vehicle encounters severe turbulence or collision during travelling, RDT-402 can immediately lock the current video and will not delete it from cyclic recording.
9) Video Output
RDT-402 supports video output in CVBS and HDMI formats; more particularly, it supports video output in either CVBS or HDMI format.
10) Volume Adjustment
The volume can be lowered or increased by repeatedly pressing the button (-) or (+) on the side of the product, respectively; and the volume is at six levels of from 0 to 5.
11) Serial Port Communications
RDT-402 can support RS232 or RS485 according to customer requirements, and can communicate with other devices to transmit vehicle information and various alarm information.
12) Signal Input and Output
RDT-402 has one-way signal input and one-way signal output, and the signal output can be used by having access to a vibration cushion and other auxiliary equipment.
