Overview
ES1000-8F2G is one full gigabit fiber optic media converter / fiber Ethernet switch. 1000Mbps 10 port Gigabit Ethernet Switches supports two types media for network connection and switching such as 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX. The switch is designed with a switch controller and buffer memory that connects two types segments to operate smoothly. The Switch is with 8 SFP port 1000Base-T/SX/LX and 2 RJ45 port 10/100/1000Base-T(selectable). The RJ45 port support Half or Full Duplex modes. All SFP ports support only 1000Mbps and Full-Duplex modes. With external power unit, it provides good stability and reliability.
It supply 8*Gigabit SFP and 2*1000Mbps Ethernet ports. It has 2 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 8 Gigabit optical ports, which are used to connect twisted pair cables and optical fibers. Each of its UTP switching ports can automatically adapt to the speed of the connected network equipment (10Mbps or 100Mbps or 1000Mbps), and can also automatically adapt to the data transmission duplex mode of the connected network equipment (full duplex or half duplex), and It can automatically adapt to the wiring mode of twisted pair RJ45 connector (straight line or cross line).
It is a multi-purpose workgroup level fiber optic switch with superior performance. It can be used not only as a basic-level switching equipment for large broadband networks, but also as a repeater or single/multi-mode converter for fiber optic networks.
