Application and Advantages

DC electric arc furnace is a smelting method in which three-phase alternating current is converted into direct current through a rectifier and sent between the bottom electrode and the upper electrode of the furnace body, and an electric arc is generated to heat the charge.

Compared with AC electric arc furnace, DC electric arc furnace has the following advantages:
