Description

     Armor tape (Industrial armor wrapping tape) is mainly used for the connection of 10kV and 35kV cold shrinkable cable intermediate joints in the power cable industry. It is also an ideal material for fast leak-proof repairing, especially for pipeline repair.

     It has the characteristics of rapid curing in contact with water, simple operation and wide application range. The structure formed after curing has high bending strength and tensile strength, non-toxic, non irritating, water-resistant and corrosion-resistant. In recent years, it has been widely used in many fields, such as electric power, chemical industry, marine industry, mining industry, communication, etc.

     The armour tape is sealed in the aluminum plastic composite bag, ready to use. No special equipment is needed when using. Simply immerse the bandage in the water for a few seconds, and then wrap it to shape, which can complete the curing and bearing in 10 minutes. After 24 hours, it can reflect the perfect mechanical protection performance.

Using method

1. Clean the surface of the wound object, wear gloves, and tear the packaging bag along the V-groove;

2. Pour the water into the packing bag, squeeze it for a few seconds, and then take out the bandage to squeeze out the excess water;

3. Winding (if it is used for leakage prevention and repair, the leakage place shall be sealed with traditional plugging materials first);

4. Winding 4-8 layers in the same way, the specific number of layers varies according to different applications;

5. When the temperature is 20 degrees, it will not stick to the hands for 4 minutes, it can cure and bear the weight within 8-10 minutes, and it can reach the requirement of complete curing within 24 hours.

Transportation and storage

1. Heavy pressure, direct sunlight and rain and snow shall be prevented during transportation;

2. Avoid deliberately kneading the packaging bag to prevent damage;

3. It shall be stored in a dry, dark and heat proof room, and the storage temperature shall be lower than 40 ℃, preferably lower than 30 ℃.
