4-20mA RS485 HART High Accuracy Magnetostrictive Level Water Sensor
1. Introduction:
When the 4-20mA RS485 HART High Accuracy Magnetostrictive Level Water Sensor works, the circuit part of the transmitter will motivate the pulse current on the wave-guide wire. There will be pulse current magnetic field around the wave-guide wire when the current spread along with the wave-guide wire. There is a float outside the measuring rod of the magnetostrictive level transmitter, the float can be changed up and down along with the change of the measuring rod. There is a set of permanent magnet inside the float. When the pulse current magnetic field comes across with the float’s circular magnetic field, the magnetic field around the float changed so as to make the wave-guide wire which made of magnetostrictive materials produce a torsion wave pulse at the float’s position, the pulse spread back along with the wave-guide wire and detected by the detection institution. Float’s position can be accurately determined by the time difference between the measuring pulse and the torsional wave, i.e., the position of the liquid surface. Magnetostrictive level transmitter can be applied to measure the interface level between two different liquids. Explosion-proof design, suitable for dangerous situation, smart electronic circuit design to calculate the amount of volume; the only moving part is the float, maintenance is extremely low.
