Answer: Sterling silver consists of 925 parts per thousand (or 92.5%) silver and 75 parts per thousand (or 7.5%) copper.

But without wearing, the rhodium plating normally can keep 1-2 years or longer time, common 0.02m gold/rose gold plating can keep half year, and 0.2m gold/rose gold plating can keep at least 1 year.
