For the principle of ultrasonic cleaning machine, the high-frequency oscillation signal sent by the ultrasonic generator is converted into high-frequency mechanical oscillation by the transducer and propagated to the medium—the cleaning solvent. The flow of the liquid produces tens of thousands of tiny bubbles with a diameter of 50-500μm. The tiny bubbles in the liquid vibrate under the action of the sound field. These bubbles form and grow in the negative pressure zone where the ultrasonic wave propagates longitudinally. In the positive pressure zone, when the sound pressure reaches a certain value, the bubbles increase rapidly and then suddenly close. In this process called "cavitation" effect, the closed bubble can form a high temperature of several hundred degrees and an instantaneous high pressure of more than 1000 atmospheric pressure.

The mechanism of ultrasonic cleaning mainly has the following aspects: due to the strong shock wave generated when the cavitation bubble bursts, a part of the dirt layer is peeled off, dispersed, emulsified, and peeled off under the action of the shock wave.
Because of the bubbles generated by the cavitation phenomenon, the gaps and voids between the dirt layer and the surface layer formed by the impact penetrate.
