1. Glycerin is used in the manufacture of nitroglycerin, alkyd resins, and epoxy resins.
2. Glycerol is used in the coating industry to make all kinds of alkyd resin, polyester resin, glycidyl ether and epoxy resin.
3. Glycerine is used in the textile and printing and dyeing industry to make lubricants, hygroscopic agents, fabric anti-wrinkle treating agents, diffusion agents and penetrants.
4. Glycerin is used in the food industry as a sweetener and a hygroscopic agent and solvent for tobacco.
5. Glycerin has a wide range of uses in papermaking, cosmetics, leather, photography, printing, metalworking, electrical materials, rubber and other industries.
6. Glycerin is used as automobile and aircraft fuel and as an antifreeze in oil fields.
7. Glycerin can be used as a plasticizer in the new ceramic industry.
