In fact, the start of the business dates back to 1951 when Cesare Gianaroli began to work and transform the grapes from his ownvine yard located on the fascinating hills of Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro.
The lead later passes to his son Graziano, who suddenly passes away in 1992. Mirco at the young age of 14, with the aim of carrying on the family passion, begins to work among the vineyards, renovating the cellar with the best technologies and transforming the vineyards, obtaining optimal results on the product appreciated by a vast network of both Italian and foreign customers who over the years have been able to taste, appreciate and finally buy the organic products of our world.
La Piana Winery is spread over 8 hectares of vineyards between Castelvetro and Vignola, the company currently produces about60,000 bottles distributed on labels using 70% of self-produced clean energy thanks to a latest generation photovoltaic system.

The Montebarello 155 project was born from the entrepreneurial and wine-making will of the producers of the Modena hills. A project aimed at enhancing and spread the unique characteristics of the Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOP through the use of Manual Harvest and Organic Agriculture.
Intense red ruby color with violet nuances and evanescent foam, the body is full and with a long persistence. This wine has an intense aroma of cherry, strawberry and raspberry and it releases scents of flowers and ripe fruit.
