3. How to choose the electrode of electromagnetic flow meter
It need according to the corrosive of the medium to confirm which electrode is perfect.
4. How to choose the linner of electromagnetic flow meter
There are four choices: Rubber linner, PTFE linner, PU linner, Alumina ceramics linner.
Rubber linner: General wear resistance, but better in oil resistance and chemical liquid resistance. widely used in water, sea water, industrial water, muddy water.
PTFE linner: inner face is smooth, measure range is wide, the highest temperature can bear is 150℃,better in corrosive resistance, nearly resistance all the chemical matters. but can not stick to the measure pipe, can not injection molding, just close to the pipe, can not use for negative pressure. widely used in the acid and alkaline liquid and health liquid.
PU linner: better in wear resistance, but weaker in corrosive resistance, and only support the weak acid and alkaline liquid. Widely used in sea water, muddy water, waster water, pulp, coal slurry.
Alumina ceramics linner: better in wear resistance, and nearly 10 times compared to PU, no deformation in high temperature and pressure, inner face is smooth. Widely used in hard serous, corrosive liquid, high temperature and pressure liquid.
5. According to the installation requirements and environment to confirm integrated type and split type which is better
Integrated type: if the working environment is good, then the integrated type will be your best choice, it means the sensor and convertor assembled into a whole.
Split type: it means the sensor and convertor install separately in a different place. Please choose the split type under below situation:
a. Environment temperature or convertor surface temperature higher than 60℃
b. The occasion of pipe vibration is larger
c. The occasion will be etch the convertor badly
d. The flow meter will be installed in the high altitude or downhole, and some occasion adjust the flow meter inconvenience.
6. How to choose the protection grade of the flow meter?
IP65: to prevent water spray
IP67: to prevent water spray in short time
IP68: to prevent water spray continuously
1. Installation environment:
a. Choose the place that no negative pressure in the measurement pipe
b. To avoid produce electromagnetic interference, the electromagnetic flow meter should far away from the motor, transformer and other strong electromagnetic equipments.
c. When installation must avoid the environment that with strong corrosive gas
d. When measure the mixture gas, pls avoid the place that can cause phase separation
e. The environment temperature should be -25℃-60℃,to avoid the direct sunshine as far as possible
f. The flow meter should be install to the place that no shake or small shake, if the shake is strong, the sensor should be fixed.
g. The environment humidity should be within 10%-90%
h. The flow meter should be install some dry place to avoid be wet.
