1). Types of underground cables voltage 0.6/1 KV types of underground cables, cross-section area can be up to 400 sqmm (copper or aluminiun conductor). Long-time operating temperature for conductor is 90 degrees, and In short circuit the highest temperature should be not more than 250 degrees.
2). Conductor: Solid or stranded copper
Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Filler: Polypropylene filament with lapped binding tape
Binder: Binding tape
Inner sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Armour: steel wire armored or steel tape armored(STA)
Sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
3)Application: For laying in ground along route with large difference of level able to bear external mechanical forces.
4). Marking: According to the customer.
5). Installation: CU/XLPE/PVC and CU/PVC power cable can be installed in air, duct, conduit or direct burial. It is recommended that the installation instructions indicated by the Local Electric Code, or any equivalent, be followed, so that the safeguarding of persons and the integrity of the product will not be affected by deficiencies in the installation .
6). Properties and functions:
The cable is extruding weather ability XLPE insulation, weather ability HDPE insulation or black weather ability PVC insulation out of the compacting Copper, and aluminum conductor. With simple construction, good mechanical, physical and electrical properties, enough safety, it also has good properties of resistance to tracking, surface discharge resistance, resistance to weathering.
It has smaller laying distance, line length, voltage drop when comparing with bare wire, especially in reducing accident and ensuring safety of the body. The cable can be used in city, country, mountain area, forest area, mining area, and is an all-weather new product of cable.
Technology property:
(1) Insulation core should bear the sparking test standard test standard GB/3048.13.
(2) The sheath should be closed tightened on the insulation. The surface of the sheath have to be smooth and its color should be well distributed.
(3) The finished cable should experienced soaking voltage testing as stipulated in the following table.
Table 1 :
Testing conditions | Unit | Property Nominal value |
The length of Sample | m | ≥10 |
Soaking time | H | ≥1 |
Water temperature | deg | 20 ± 5deg |
Testing voltage value | V | 2500 |
