 1.) Typical 2-Vessel Brewhouse, Mash/Lauter tun + Kettle/whirlpool tun with double size Hot liquor Tank. Such brewhouse allows to brew 1-2 batches per day. 

2.)  Kettle/whirlpool tun and hot liquor tank are fitted with fire chamber and burner for direct fire heating. For mash/lauter tun, there is false bottom inside as you know, which would conflict with direct fire heating. So, it can not be heated. But you can increase mash temperature by pumping hot water from HLT to MLT. It is also very common in microbrewery. 

3.)  Two stages heat exchanger gives prompt wort cooling within 30-40 minutes. 

4.) 25L Glass grant is placed between mash/lauter tun and kettle/whirlpool tun as buffer tank. The wort after filtering would run into grant by GRAVITY instead of pumping, which can avoid vacuum forming in lauter tun, very safe design.
