What is FBT Coupler
FBT Coupler is also know as FBT Splitter, which is built to split the optical power or
wavelength through Fused Biconic Taper (FBT) technique. Optical power can be split into 1/99, 2/98, 10/90, 20/80, 30/70 etc. 
Fiber length can be customized.
Connectors are optional, such as SC LC FC ST and so on.
Packing is custom too, steel tube, ABS box, LGX Box etc.
FBT Coupler inner structure
Fused coupler is being fixed on a glass support, which is called quartz substrate. Out side glass support there is a glass tube, sealed with glue at both end. In order to protect the coupler well, outside glass tube is steel tube, which is sealed with glue at both ends too.
How do you know if the product is sealed well and of high reliability and stability? TC temperature(-45 to 80 Celsius) circulation will solve this problem. All PHXFIBER Couplers pass 48 hours TC.
