Quartz heating Element range consists of cassette style elements constructed with aluminised steel as standard, stainless steel is also an option. These emitters have peak emissions in the medium to long wavelength range. They are commonly used in a wide range of industrial heating and drying applications including energy efficient industrial heaters. The pillared quartz element is available in 2 industry standard sizes – models PFQE and PHQE. All heaters are mounted using a pressed ceramic pillar which also houses the screw terminals for connecting the electrical supply to the element. The element requires a 42 x 15mm punched slot in the reflector for mounting with the supplied spring and clip. Maximum reflector thickness is 1.5mm.
