Jasmine Attar Having botanical name Jasminum Grandiflorum, Jasmine Attar offered has it has its origination in India and is a reddish brown transparent colored liquid with floral, exotic and warm odor. Being insoluble in water and soluble in alcohol and oils, it has refractive index of 1.475 - 1.495 and has chemical constituents including benzyl alcohol, indole, benzyl acetate, linalool, benzyl benzoate, methyl anthranilate, cis-jasmone, geraniol. The oil is extracted using Hydro- distillation process from Jasminum Gradiflora (synonym officinale) of Oleaceae family. The properties of the oil also help it in reduce skin stretch marks as well as scarring for pregnant ladies.
