Dryland alfalfa hay is cut up to twice per season, while irrigated alfalfa may be harvested up to 3 times per seaon. Unlike timothy hay, which is graded by observtion and smell, alfalfa hay is graded by an independent laboratory analysis. Due to its high Protein content and our excellent growing conditions. Our Alfalfa hay is sought after by dairy operation around the world; Our producers are startegically positioned near the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rocky Muntains. We are fortunate to have clean air, long warm days with cool nights, soil rich in calcium and magnesium and a pristine environment in which to grow our Alfalfa Hay.
