Processing guide Storage: Temperatures during transportation and storage should not exceed 45 ºC. Keep resin in dry and ventilated stroage to prevent moisture. Aviod contact with soil, water, sludge and extremes temperature. The maximum shelf life is 2 years in ambient temperature of 23ºC
Drying: Pre drying of 001T is recommended prior to get the best processing performance. It is recommended to check the moisture content of the resin prior to processing. If the moisture content of the resin is less than 0.3% pre drying may not be needed. Typical drying conditions:2 hours at 175°F (80ºC)
Safty and Operation:MSDS of 001 can be obtained from polyester or suppliers. Read the MSDS carefully before operation.
Important: 001T is not suitable for directly blowing film. It’s developed for blending with other degradable materials, such as PHA and PLA. degradable polymers are temperature sensitive. It is important to make sure the blowing machine is closer to the lower temperature setting to start with. If the blow part is not optimized it is recommended to increase the temperature in 5ºC increments.
