AISI P20+S/DIN 1.2312 Introduction:
P20+S is a plastic mould tool steel, P20 with higher sulphur content(0.30-0.50), thus improves machinability. It is delivered in pre-hardened condition. It is a high strength steel.
P20+S is not suitable for polishing or applications where a fine finish is required.
Applications:
Plastic moulds, large mould frames and bolsters
injection moulds
die holders AND Zinc die mould casting
shafts and wear strips
